discuss Do you open your social media accounts on more than one device?

A thread covering the latest news on trends, groundbreaking technologies, and digital innovations reshaping the tech landscape.
I use social media mainly from my phone but when it comes to promote on social media, I access them through my computer as it is easier to post through a computer. Therefore, I am signed in through two devices.

This is good. It seems that there are a couple of limited features on the mobile version when one would need to promote what they are selling, right? That is why you use the computer for that purpose.

I have my social media on just my smartphone. I don't see any need to have my social accounts on my laptop since I very rarely go out with my laptop. And I don't log into my social media account on people's devices too.

I don't. I only open up my social media accounts on my phone. I'd rather not open them up on my laptop. My laptop is mainly for work and being productive. If I had social media on my laptop, I wouldn't get a lot of things done.

This is pretty nice. Does it mean that you struggle with making use of social media accounts on your laptop unlike when you are using it on your smartphone?

No, I just like the user interfaces better on mobile instead of the laptop. I do have facebook on my laptop and Twitter, but I don’t use them that much on my computer. The social media apps tend to look better on mobile.

To me, It’s a lot easier to navigate and do things on mobile over the pc

You are quite right about the fact that most social media platforms are better on mobile. It is easier to use on mobile than on laptop which has a more different user interface.

My social media is logged into my smartphone and laptop only. I have never logged in my social account on any other device that is not mine. And it is saved on just the chrome browser of the two devices.

So, you are saying that you make use of both methods on a daily basis and don't focus on using one instead of another?

Doing that is what makes someone's social media accounts get hacked especially when you log out but saving their login details. I will never do that for any reason.

As long as you use two step verification and a passkey, it'll be pretty tough for someone else to log into your account. You're right though, saving your information on other devices that aren't yours isn't smart.

Answer is a Big yes. I made lots of social media account from one single device and most of the account is still alive. But I only use some of them for marketing purpose.
