What are you major concerns with DeepSeek?

Here are my major concerns:

1. The Chineese are ruthless, going to any edge to get their aims done. So, as a starter, I doubt if they are capable of doing what they claim to do?
2. I am doubtful about the correctness of all AI generative engines because output can be only clear as much as what the input is.
3. Now, to address the elephant in the room - how my data will be collected, processed, shared and used.

Due to these reasons, I have refused to use it.

The concerns you have regarding DeepSeek is true. The possible threats to both data protection and system security need immediate attention. I have always have doubts about AI-generated content because the accuracy is questionable. DeepSeek will remain off my usage list until the software resolves its privacy and security problems.

This is totally true. infact, I read a book called AI SNAKE OIL. Written in the book is how inherently false the entire generative AI gamut is because collection of data is extremely expensive and are done by people ho hardly understands the real intent of the entire programe. This results in companies knowingly feeding their AI program with wrong data and knowingly releasing products in the markets that are giving out false data.

The apprehension about DeepSeek is more of geopolitics. I don't want to be drawn into this. AI data breach is not limited to DeepSeek. The major concern is how to properly address privacy issues by artificial intelligence generally. DeepSeek work like other AI powered apps and systems and they all have the same vulnerabilities. I have tried DeepSeek and it is pretty similar to others.
