Movie information in first post provided by The Movie Database
I watched Compliance without viewing the trailer because I'm into true crime stories and remember when this one hit the news. I thought at the time, "How could anyone be that stupid to follow the orders of 'police' over the phone without any verification whatsoever?"

I knew the story but didn't know how it could play out in a movie, as to why I decided to watch it.

It kind of made me feel uncomfortable at times watching the fast food worker be victimized like she did in the movie, as it went into overt detail that could've not been put on such great display. Because of that, I would have to give it a 2/5. The story was good, but they didn't need to reach so far as it kind of made me feel like it was a film for perverts that would like to watch someone, whether it be real life or fantasy, be a victim of SA and to see those scenes in graphic detail.

Having said that, the case always made me wonder two things: 1) How anyone could play along with 'cops' on the phone and follow those orders, and 2) why the perpetrator was never charged with any crimes. It kind of made me turn into a conspiracy theorist on this one, in that, it was a social program designed by an intelligence agency to see if they could control someone in becoming compliant with orders over the phone by an authoritative figure. It really wouldn't shock me if it were, as the intelligence agencies have far done worse.
