Yes, they exist together. If you don't believe just look at the statue of Hindu God Shiva at CERN complex in Switzerland. Why do they choose to have a religious symbol in the world's biggest science lab?

The difference between science and religion that they are complementary means each one is used to proove other like proove religious background by the science for example.
They can without doubt because they can supplement each other because they are two different ways of trying to deal with the world and its mysteries. Science gives us knowledge of the working of the world and religion guides us as to how to live in it. So, you can see that it's possible for them to coexist.
Sometimes you could explain your religious background from scientific point of view to try to convince people to agree with your point of view.

Religious moderation and scientific moderation are meaningful principles and it can be applied to form the relationship between religion and science. That way, it is possible for religion and science to coexist.
I actually think that practically speaking, science and religion should co exist peacefully. Looking at it critically, the inventions in technology backed up by science is what religion now uses to advance. Dogma as advanced by religion couldn't have created those technological tools.
I think they are totally different. Science deals with the physical world while religion is concerned with metaphysics. Science is more concerned with objectivity and evidence while religion is faith based.
