Capitalism has been the barrier of innovation and causing inequality and exploitation. With about more wealth in the hands of 1% of those super-rich than the rest of the world population put together, shows that it has negativities.

I am interested in the idea of establishing a post-capitalist economy, but I believe it absolutely needs to be emphasized that such approaches to these matters is complex. We all know that capitalism is part our economy. So it would be difficult to just take capitalism away, but rather a whole transformation is what should be employed.

The problem is that the government taking money can be a form of theft, even if it's from what many see as very selfish people (Elon Musk, Bill Gates etc.).

I don't see any economic system that would do better than capitalism. For all its flaws, it has led people to be at the highest level of creativity to make wealth and in the process make life better for humanity. If not for capitalism, people won't be able to afford some basic things. It is the competition that capitalism brings that makes business services to compete in pricing and bring down prices of products and services.

What is wrong with capitalism? Everyone has equal opportunity to rise. Yes, there are some fault lines and sometimes government works for the vested interest but capitalism is far more better than all existing economical systems

I don't have a problem with capitalism because I don't really care if people got more money than me. My main concern is myself and how I can maintain a decent comfortable living.

Imagine that I as a fashion designer would not be allowed to own my business and pursue innovation because I operate in a socialist economic system? That would be really terrible. I think capitalism is the best economic system that has allowed innovation and the freedom to thrive.

So much of the failure in Capitlism is because people can't manage money. Now, while it's true, many people cannot become rich, they can live a comfortable existence, but if you're free-spending on sodas and candy at gas stations, forget it.

Capitalism is a good economic system if you ask me and humanity won't replace it. I think it allocates resources much more efficiently to people based on the productivity and the value they offer. Capitalism is the default economic system for ages and it won't change now.
