What are some of the unique initiatives you have seen that is designed to break patriarchy?

In my place, an NGO is running a initiative in which the girl child is asked to write down, on a white board put in their house, all the slurs and slanders that pictures woman or are about the body parts of products used by woman.

This helped very significantly in reducing the barriers against respecting woman in my place.

Breaking patriarchy isn’t just about dismantling old power structures, it’s about shifting mindsets. I see it as challenging deep-rooted norms that limit people based on gender, whether in workplaces, households, or laws. Economic dependence, cultural expectations, and systemic barriers make change slow. But I think small shifts in education, financial independence, and equal legal rights help.

Men Against Patriarchy is definitely a good step. Through this discussion with men, we can break the toxic masculinity into pieces, so that in a clearer future, we have men supporting an inclusive society.
I totally agree with it. It would be wonderfull to see the opressors generate a discussion about the oppression so the process of dismantling the pariarchial structures becomes very easy.

However, my question in such a case would be, how easy it would be to assemble men against the entire discussion about eliminating patriarchy? It will affect profits, interests and power. Would men be willing to take the blow?

@Jason Totally understandable. But when Trump and Musk is vouching for this kind of toxic masculinity, it would be difficult to see how others can be disillusioned out of this.

America was a nation that exported breaking patriarchy to other nations. Now, it seems that they have taken a stand against it.

A poor turn of the tide.

The problem is there is no middle ground. It's either toxic masculinity or female supremacy and both are wrong.

That is the whole point in creating a political space, right?

I believe that we can build a middle ground with a good consensus strength once we take the narrative forward into political space. The peculiarity of the topic itself is that it requires policy intervnetion.

The sad part of the democrats find it difficult to build consensus because of all the tricks these republicans have under their sleeves.

The democrats have a habit of getting unlikeable candidates, mainly because they talk down to people. People want someone relatable, even if they are as morally imperfect as Trump.
