Its a chat based application that will be using the bluetooth enabled in near by devices to transmit messages. Reportedly, it will have a range of 300m presently.

Its more suitable for office spaces and places where you can keep the range of communication short and ensure encryption. What ar eyour thoughts on this?

I have read this news and I don't see any benefit in using it. With bluetooth your device might also get unwanted files. Internet is already essential item, people are depended on it, what's the point of a messaging system that does not need internet?
