Some of it can be quite brutal and disrespectful, and while sometimes it's cool, as in the case of child molesters maybe, other times it's not.

Note: I got the idea for this post after observing cartoons on this atheist Facebook group.

These days everyone is mocking everyone. I am a Hindu and I frequently see people laughing at Hindus. A Muslim, or a Jewish person, might experience the same thing. So, it is not just Christianity being attacked, all religions are being attacked.

Atheists and others may express skepticism or disagreement, sometimes in insensitive ways, especially online. They are just words. Shrug it off as everyone has their own to say.

It's not unless it turns into violence or other acts that I have a problem with it. If you can let someone else's words control your emotions, you have already lost to them (this applies to race and other protected classes as well).

I agree with this.

Let them mock and make fun. The internet and social media are going to be an instrument for that sort of thing - always.

But when it turns into physical violence, then it's a different story. Then it's usually terrorism at that point as people are terrorizing others because of a specific belief.

It doesn't bother me what people have to say about my religion. I also have inconsistencies that I point out about other religions as well. The only problem is when it is disrespectful. But that doesn't bother me because there are other savage Christians ready to disrespect them too.

I don't get myself involved in mockery or criticism of any religion because I know it is very hurtful. Even if you have the right to express your opinion, it is essential to consider the impact of your word on other people and that's why we should respect each other's opinion or belief.
