Believe it, there are quite a number of people out there who can't last 10 minutes without their phones. Others don't mind sitting down in front of their laptop or PC, even when there's nothing relevant to do.
It would seem like their lives revolve around their gadgets, more like it they are the ones being controlled, not the other way round.
Is that the case with you?

I was like this too but I learnt to just do away with it and spend some quality time with my family as they complained too much about this.

I belong to a circle of friends who are obsessed with laptops and PCs. I think they influenced me but mine was just my phone.
I’m not addicted to any gadget.
Good for you. It took me time to adjust myself. I had to stay a week without phone to fight my obsession for it.

Admittingly, I am.

However, if my wife or daughter picks up that I'm using it too much while I'm out with them, I will immediately put it away or keep it in the car and have the strength to not touch it again for the duration of the outing.
My daily screen time is around 12 hours
Probably over this if I add smartphone screen time and laptop screen time.

My laptop and phone are always with me but I am not addicted to my gadgets, I can live without them. In fact sometimes I do not use then for the entire day and don't have any withdrawal symptoms

If I do not use my gadgets, I do not have a feeling or discomfort of not using them. That is a sign of a healthy personality. It is calming because I can literally log off and not bother about it.

Wow that's cool. It shows you are neither addicted nor obsessed with them. That should be how we view gadgets, not allowing them to be too relevant that we can't do without them.

I am actually not addicted to my gadget. being addicted is not being able to do without, definitely i can do without my gadget, i have actually stay away from my gadget for days.
That is a great improvement, I can boast of the same. I don’t believe I am addicted to my device but I occasionally find myself browsing the internet on my phone or laptop but I make sure not to get carried away.
