discuss Are robots inferior?

This thread covers all aspects of ideologies, including beliefs, principles, traditions, policies, and their influence on society and culture.
The carpet cleaning robot I saw cleans a carpet, but it's nothing compared to what human workers do at a motel. The smell blows you away at a motel.
The only carpet cleaning robot that I've seen, aside from a Roomba, is an industrial-sized robot with a "face" that goes up and down the halls of the movie theater. It gives the carpet a deep wash and clean and leaves a relatively dry trail behind.

I have to assume they vacuum differently in the theaters as it just wouldn't work on a stair platform or between seats.

But that robot does its job good. If it encounters an object, say a person, it'll do a 90-degree rotation and another 90-degree rotation to go straight and then another 90-degree rotation to get on the same line again to continue moving forward. If there are many objects in its way, it'll pause and clean around them before filling in the spaces it would have otherwise missed.
