Celebrities benefit from the communities. So, I doubt if they are really giving back to the community that made them. They stand a better to build beneficial changes in their neighboring communities through their position. Let me ask, are celebrities giving back to their communities?

Celebrities are contributing very much into their communities. Think it this way:

1. When there is a highly paid celebrity, he/she is bringing together higher payment for countless other workers who are involved in the film making process. This includes dubbing workers, stunt assistants, camera men, assistant directors, production executives, graphic designers and many many others.

2. They build a kind of soft power and magnify the popularity and many other things of their community, building more market for their goods.

All these are, in addition, to charity and other volunteer projects.
