I don't seem to believe how silly this movie is. The previous Alien series all had a distinct tone but this one is awful. Seriously, there are times in this movie where I'm just laughing, and it's intentional. It is dumb and ridiculous yet it's enjoyable by some people . Maybe, because it was brought back to life 200 years later. The whole story looks horrible. They extracted aliens from people's bodies. I mean, how does that all work? Honestly, I have no idea.

The story probably would have worked really well as a comic book. It's got a lot of ridiculous-looking shots. In fact, the director, Jean Pierre, has a really distinct feel and would probably be better suited for a comedy movie. But we see cloning and a brand-new alien creature which I may have not seen before. That's a plus there and I also see a guy pull out his own brain from the back of his skull.

You might want to watch and let’s see if you have a different view. Or if you have watched it, what's your opinion?

I have seen reviews and the trailer, but have not watched the movie itself. From everything I have heard, this movie is one of the pioneers of modern CGI, and that could be a good enough reason for seeing it if nothing else.
