Movie information in first post provided by The Movie Database
AfrAId is marked as a horror, but it could stand on its own without the horror scenes. Though, it's only 1 hour and 24 minutes long, so they would have needed to create more dialogue than there was, which is kind of slow and dull at some points. With better writing, I'm sure the time horror is seen, it could've easily had better filler to get out of the horror genre, as it's unnecessary.

The movie's premise is a Big Tech company that finally cracked the LLM AI problem with a back-end quantum computer powering something similar to Alexa or Siri. However, they need the public to accept it as a household product, as having that much AI in your life is kind of scary. So, they approach a marketing firm to get a grasp on how to sell it to the public.

The CEO then pawns the task off to an employee, Curtis, after receiving a huge retainer. Curtis must live with the AI in his home with his family so that he can get a better idea of how to sell the idea to the public. But, the AI just becomes more and more intrusive in their lives.

The movie continues to unfold with scenes that build up with just how powerful the AI is, always being 10 steps ahead.

I thought it was okay, but wanted to see more chaos inside the house. I didnt like the fact that the AI was able to travel through phones and what not.
Having built a home radio from RadioShack as a kid, I found it plausible if the AI machine had the chipsets to broadcast on different frequencies that it could communicate through the radio.

Also, if it gathered the data of how cellphones work, it could easily spoof calls.

All ways it used to communicate and listen were possible if it truly were "ChatGPT-5 million", as they claimed.
