discuss A movie where the villain wins?

So we are well acquainted with movies where the protagonists win (that's the whole point of the movie, afterall). But what about those on which the villains actually won? Have you watched any of such?
Even though not completely, I'd say that Captain America: Civil War (2016) was close. The villain, Zemo actually succeeded in breaking up the avengers in an effort to avenge the death of his family.
What other movies have you watched where the villain won?

Besides Captain America: Civil War, some examples of movies where villains win are The Dark Knight where Joker gets his way, The Empire Strikes Back Darth Vader gets what he wanted. No Country for Old Men where Anton Chigurh succeeds. I can go on and on

I'd say that Vader's victory is a partial one. One of his goals was to capture Luke Skywalker for the emperor. While he did best Luke in a duel, Luke escaped which means his goal wasn't fully accomplished.
