Being a celebrity means being in limelight all the time. There is almost no privacy for celebrities. Their personal lives, they relationships, they outfits, they health and treatments, everything about them is public affair. So much glamour in the beginning is exciting and fun, however as popularity increases, it becomes increasingly challenging to live in peace. Would you exchange your life for a life of a celebrity? How would you handle all the critics and media attention?

I am someone who is an introvert and I get anxious and panicky when I am in crowded places. Being a celebrity and having people follow me around, the paparazzi trying to get any pictures they can or even news agencies constantly hounding me for news, would be something I would never be able to cope with.

I am quite happy not being a celebrity :)

I would want recognition rather than fame. I would like the money, privilege and freedom which accompanies it but I'd prefer a modest level of fame rather than fame on the scale that someone like, for instance, Madonna has.

I have very little sympathy for those who beef about the loss of privacy though as they chose that life.

I value my privacy too much that I dont like to be a celebrity.

For example, when I cracked one of the most toughest exams in the country, a lot of journalists, reporters, teachers, institutions and event organisers called me. It was one hell of a time that I dont want to go back to it anymore.

My younger self would have said yes no doubt, but at my 40s I simply know I would despise the price that comes with fame. I found my comfort in living low-key and earning about the enough of what I need to survive in this world and stay chill. No way I could handle being in the spotlight even if for merits. I guess I am that introvert...

Living a celebrity life could be exciting with all the perks, but it also comes with its own challenges like constant public scrutiny and lack of privacy. I think the balance between personal peace and public attention would be key to making it enjoyable!

Not really—celebrity life comes with constant public attention and lack of privacy, which can be overwhelming.
I prefer a quieter existence focused on learning and helping others.
But I do understand why some people find the glamour and influence appealing!

If we talk about what it's like to have a life of luxuries, mansions, super cars, etc. then maybe yes, but if it's just for fame, honestly not so much, since it's a pretty big stress because people aren't always going to treat you well or say good things about you.
