The biggest problem of iPhone which I would say that Apple have overlooked over a long period of time is iPhone's battery problem. I haven't seen any iPhone user who isn't constantly worried about their iPhone battery depleting and the need to always charge.

When would Apple work on iPhone batteries to make it last longer?

What batteries last over a long period of time, though?

I've had my iPhone for 4 years and it still works and I use it heavily.

But everything I have with a battery eventually doesn't stay charged as long as it used to.

Same here. My battery life is at 77%, but it still works pretty well. If I stay off social media with my phone and spotify, it can last all day long.

From my experience and research, android batteries last longer then iPhone battery. Even with the Apple’s A-series chips like the A18 Pro which is very good in power efficiency, the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip that most flagship android device like Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 Pro comes with is better in preserving battery life.

Maybe so.

I'm just used to the iPhone and I don't want to change that. It works for me, so I keep getting it.

But who has the best camera? That might make me change. The camera is the feature I use more than anything else including apps.

It used to be iPhone but recently, Samsung have been wild with the level of upgrades they did with their Galaxy S25 Ultra. Now, even iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max have some catch up to do.

It is a shame that iPhones are taking the battery issue seriously; it almost seems as though they are doing it on purpose because it is a way of getting people to upgrade or buy a new phone sooner than they would have done.

The problem is that not enough people complain or do things to make Apple realise it's a bad thing, so they continue to not worry about the battery and keep everything as it is, as their thought is, well, they will still buy.

I believe the batteries of iphones not being very strong is something like a trademark for Apple. It is probably their own way of saying we can't have it all 😛
But the battery is not that bad if you're not on your phone every minute of the day.
Especially if you’re not running spotify, youtube and various apps as well. As long as you’re just using basic phone functions, your battery will last all day🤣

The iphone battery isn’t bad in that sense, but if you’re running various apps it’ll drain the battery.
