Whenever I use earphones to listen to music, my ears actually end up aching and become inflamed. This however, does not happen when I am listening to a speech or any other non-musical audio. Do you think certain frequency or pitches may be causing this? Are there any particular frequencies that one should avoid while listening to music with an earphone? I always keep the volume very low, as I have extra-sensitive ears. Has anyone of you experienced this?

This might be because of the suboptimal music settings. For example, if the bass is very high and its concentrated in any one area, then it might affect your ear adversely.

Rememeber two things:

1. The ear is also an organ of the human body prone to wear and tear.
2. Music, when it doesnt make sense, is Noise.
