I believe a footballer is supposed to be a role model and is supposed to behave in a certain way....bt some people just look for clout or fame and money

I dont think footballers are always accused of rape. Many are NOT actually.

That said, rape and women related crimes are common in high power yielding individuals because of two reasons:

1. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
2. When a person reaches a high position, it is easy to tarnish them by having some allegations put up against them that involve woman.

I don't know what to make of this. The last footballer that was accused of rape was jailed only to be discovered later that it was a false accusation. Some of the ladies think they can exploit footballers to make big cashouts through rape accusations.

There is a thin line that divides consensual sex and forced sex. Some athletes might be using their status to abuse other people where as in some case there is a motive to get money from the athlete.

This is sad. I'm not a huge fan of sports and i'm not aware that footballers are always accused of rape. It could be people just trying to spoil their image.
