Usually, when life throws me curveballs and I am at a loss as to what to do or struggling with finding advice myself, I will turn to my mum now. It used to be my mum and da,d but since my dad became very unwell and was diagnosed with dementia and Motor Neurone Disease, it's not possible to ask him for help now.
I find with anything that I have an issue with, my mum tends to know the answer and gives advice which always helps.

A lot of answers will be from friends and family, which I use when needed.

For me, it's my elder brother. He knows how to calm me down and let me see things in the right way. That's the reason why I like talking through my thoughts to him because he always helps me find my own answers.

I know people who have a level head and can offer me good advice. Those are the people I run to for advice and they are practically members of my family. I also like to seek advice from people who have similar experiences as mine.
It is my mom that gives me the best advice. When things become so difficult for me to deal with, I always talk to my mom. Two things she would do. She would assist me in her capacity and give me a very objective advise in all situations.
It depends on what kinds of lemons my life game me. If I have some investment or business fails I never turn to my parents or even siblings because they never succeed with their investments or business. If I have parenting issue, I rely on my elder sister as she is raising teens.
