Quitting playing video games as a result of rage is very real. If you haven't experienced games that are very frustrating, you wouldn't understand exactly how video games rage feels. Soulsborne games are very good at getting a gamer to rage quit. Also, COD franchise is good at it as well.

I don't rage over games anymore. I've grown past that; rather, I'll leave a game that does not seem interesting to me. The one I quit last was Sekiro. That game was just too difficult.
I did mentioned how tough and agonisingly frustrating soulsborne games can be right and Sekiro : Shadow Die Twice is among such games as well as Bloodborne. I had the same experience when I played Elden Ring.

Sekiro, from what I heard, was not the game for those who are not ready to push beyond their limits. This makes me wonder what the developers were thinking when they made that game to be very hard to win.

It has been a long time since I rage quit a video game, usually I tend to take a break from the video game if I am getting frustrated and come back to it when I am ready but there has only ever been one time I have rage quit a game and never gone back to it.

Cuphead was the video game I rage quit, I spent around half an hour on the game, maybe slightly longer but the game was so difficult I just turned it off and never went back.
