There are so many literature genres that are overlooked. One that comes to my mind right now is magical realism. For me, it is a highly underrated genre despite the fact that it's fascinating and can also lead to imaginative storytelling . This is a genre where we found great authors like Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Isabel Allende.
