Sony have graced us with 5 different generation of the PlayStation console from PS1 to PS5. Countless video games of great titles have been released on each of those console that set each one apart from others.

If you're to choose your favorite PlayStation console, which one is it going to be from PS1 to PS5? Why would you choose that particular console?

My PS4 is a darling and probably my go-to console. I just can't do without the exclusive titles like The Last of Us and God of War. They are truly unbeatable; I keep playing back to back.

PlayStation 4 was indeed a great console. I enjoyed playing a lot of games on it especially Red Dead Redemption 2. But if I'm going to choose my all time favourite, it's definitely going to be PlayStation 2. The game library available on PS2 was incredible.

PS2 is my favorite Playstation console. So many great games came out on the PS2, plus you were able to play your original Playstation games too so you didn't have to worry about losing progress in your games.

I still have my PlayStation 2 till today. If I didn't, I wouldn't mind buying it again because it's a great gem console Sony graced us with.

I saw this post on Facebook a few days ago and it brought back so much old memories I had playing the game.

You never had any experience of playing with the older PlayStation consoles before PlayStation 4? I used to go to video games house/lounge to play on consoles I couldn't own as a kid.

The PlayStation 2. That console was released just before requiring the internet to play and consoles being locked down became a thing.

It was also just before it become much harder to swap hard driver to play different games. I remember I had a hard drive with hundreds of games that I would swap in whenever I wanted to play different games.

Now, I have to connect a console to the internet to play many of the games I want to, and have to disassemble almost the whole thing to swap drives.

It is PS5 for me. PS5's use of the latest technology enables it to provide an amazing gaming experience. New technologies come with a lot of enhancements and changes. Loading is fast and both the controls and graphics are excellent.

I'll always prefer the newest gen console, even though I'm still playing PS4. I can't afford to get a PS5.

It was the first PlayStation for me, as it was the only PlayStation console I ever owned. I did not have the opportunity to get the latest PlayStation because I do not have the funds for it.

Of all the PlayStations, my best is PlayStation 2. I enjoyed lots of good games on it. It’s always good to have a console that was your introduction to gaming, always a nostalgic thing.

I much prefer Xboxes over the new PlayStations. When I was a young kid, I had a PlayStation 2 that I absolutely loved, and I definitely much preferred my PS2 to my Xbox. However, when the XBox 360 came out, that instantly replaced the PS2 for me. I got bought a PS3 a year or so after it came out too, but I never really took to it, and always found that I preferred Xbox products to PlayStations since.

I like PlayStations than Xboxes. The best, in my opinion, is the PlayStation 2. It had many great games. I also like the PlayStation 3. I believe they have some really great games that cannot be compared to the ones on Xbox.
