For some of us who are not addicted to gaming, may turn to other sources of entertainment if all games were wiped out for some reason. However, what do you think would happen to the people who are addicted to gaming? Will they and their loved ones suffer heavily from the frustration and outbursts?

If casino games were a part of that, I guess I'd be looking for different employment.
I figure if this job ever goes south, I'll try to go get on with Loss Prevention Management somewhere. I'd prefer it not be Walmart but maybe some other big department store.

Though it might have a negative impact on hardcore gamers at first, but with time, they will choose an alternative hobby or any other forms of entertainment. It's really not going to take a longer time before everyone finds alternatives.
There is going to be a crisis should that kind of thing happen. Personally, I know my boyfriend won't be himself anymore because he is one person who I know has been very serious when it comes to playing games.
I agree with your viewpoint, while most people think that its easy to move on, those who are seriously into gaming will have tough time adjusting and the world will surely see a crisis phase

I am a gamer but wouldn't class myself as being addicted or even a hardcore gamer, not now. If games were completely wiped out, I would be upset as gaming is something I have done since I was around three years old so it would be a loss that would have an impact, but due to how much I game now, and have other sources of entertainment, I would be able to find other ways to entertain myself if video games were no longer a thing.
I am not addicted to games but if all the games are wiped out, it would certainly make me sad as I play games for fun and entertainment, which are must for the sanity of my mind. However, if I cannot play games, I can easily find refuge on something else, for instance TV show
