Does your smartphone have an in-built screen recorder which can be used to record what's displaying on the screen whenever you wanted? If your smartphone doesn't have an in-built screen recorder feature, which 3rd party app do you use?

Do you thinkscreen recording feature is important in smartphones?

My phone doesn't have an inbuilt screen recorder. So I use a third party app to screen records. The common and the most popularly used screen recording app is X recorder and that's what I use too.

I know about X recorder from years ago. The app have been around for a long time. I was using it some years ago when I had a Techno device which didn't have an inbuilt screen recorder.

I don't do too much video recording on my phone, so whenever I record from my phone, I just use what I have built in to record what is on my screen.

When it comes to recording from say my PC or my Xbox or Nintendo Switch, I use OBS for recording and wouldn't change that

It’s not a feature that I find useful to say the least.

The most recent example of using it was to report two UI bugs in XenForo.

When I used X recorder, I had it used more to take screenshots because it brings out an icon for taking screenshots on my screen. It makes it easier for use for taking screenshots unlike using the in-built one or the side buttons on my phone.
