off-topic What is something you wish people would learn more about?

For threads discussing subjects unrelated to the main forum topics.
I think people should learn more about the environmental dangers around their location of residence and be ready to take a disaster insurance for their house and belongings.

All this has become so important that it is estimated that a person looses twice their normal yearly expenditure in restoring their living spaces from the adverse impacts of climate change alone.

I see intolerance growing bigger and bigger. The reasons for ongoing wars is nothing but intolerance. Russia became intolerant of Ukraine, which was once a part of USSR. Israel became intolerant of Palestine and Iran. I think people learned the importance of tolerance for peace., stability and progress.

I wish people would do at least 5 minutes of research before parroting news talking points. You can tell pretty quickly that they don't know what they're talking about when you ask them for an example though...

This is it! I've seen a lot of people act and behave like they know everything without even having the basic knowledge of what they are talking about. Such a situation can be sickening if you ask me because, to some, they fail to learn even when you are trying to let them understand that they are wrong with their views.

I wish more people would learn about emotional intelligence, how to understand their feelings, empathize with others, and communicate mindfully. It changes everything: relationships, conflict, self-worth. I’ve seen how just pausing before reacting can create space for better outcomes and deeper connection.

I think people should learn how to mind their business. A lot of things get out of hands today simply because some people get involved into something which doesn't concern them in any way possible. I think their constant need to seek attention is the problem.
This generally happens when people put their business out everywhere and expect people to not include their opinions. You see it occur a lot with social media, but if the business was never put out there in the first place, people wouldn’t know what’s going on.

It sucks, but I see it occur all the time.
