In our country, women are supposed to wear read but a guy can wear any color. The bride and groom are supposed to wear traditional attire. I do not know the true meaning of our wedding dress but I guess that is a part of following culture.
I wore a traditional wedding attire for my wedding and it carries a lot of meaning, especially the colors. In Africa, the colors and the patterns of the outfit have meaning. It could be prosperity, fertility or spiritual blessings and the good thing is that the outfit reflects the couple's heritage.
