discuss What can Liverpool do to retain the title?

A thread for live match analysis, player performances, scores, highlights, fan predictions, and general sports discussions across all sports.
Liverpool just needs to get a striker that can score goals. Someone in the mould of Haaland. I doubt that Salah would reproduce the same form he has last season in the next season. They should look to replace Trent Arnold properly too.

They have signed Frimpong from Bayer to replace Arnold who has left for Real Madrid. I don't think that they've signed a striker yet. Which striker do you think they will be pushing to sign at the moment?

They also signed Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for a club-record £100m that's potentially going to rise up to £116m.

I heard they are going for Isak next.

Where are they getting all the money to sign all these players? This is more like what Man City is doing with the way that they are also signing more players this summer.

Honestly, I think it's from winning the English Premier league and finishing in the UEFA Champions League quarter finals but you're right about questioning how much they are spending because it doesn't add up.

The signing of Wirtz for such a big amount is Liverpool making a big statement of their intent to challenge for the title next season. And it would take a whole lot for them not to challenge and be in top 3. Only Man City is the only threat to Liverpool winning the league again.
I agree with you and it's going to be a serious injury crisis that's going disrupt Manchester City's and Liverpool's run to win the English Premier League next season.
