The debate on the top five emerging technologies still drags on but based on my understanding of tech, I believe the top five emerging technologies in the world right now are Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Internet of Things, Quantum Computing and Augmented Reality. I chose these technologies because they are really transforming industries and they are revolutionizing human lives too.

Gene editing is one of the fastest growing aspects of technological advancement. I just hope that it fully develops and gets major breakthroughs. With it, we are assured of a solution to genetic diseases and global food security. Also, VR and AR are yet to peak as a tech advancement and is rapidly evolving.
