Now it is time to discuss TV genres that are slowly fading away. I believe, that Westerns are one of those. They used to be pretty famous, but now you don’t get to watch new Western shows or movies as frequently.

What do you think?

There are a lot of western shows out now, especially Yellowstone, landman, 1923 and 1883.
I don’t think the genre is phasing out.

I don't see many of the old style sitcoms anymore, where the comedy is more about poking fun at yourself or at a situation or thing than other people. So much comedy nowadays tends to focus on criticizing others to using other people at a topic of comedy, whereas, at least in my childhood, a lot more comedy seemed to be "silly" and harmless essentially.

What a good publication this is since it is true, I haven't watched TV in a long time but the little that I have seen currently, the TV genres are disappearing, I suppose the most obvious is the contest genre, at least for my part I no longer see that there are as many TV contests as there were before.
