Turmeric, one of the most central to cooking and commonly use spices especially in Asian continent, has many natural properties that are good for our health. It is an anti-inflammatory (has been used by our ancestors on wounds), antioxidant, good for the heart and the brain. It is considered good for the skin too and many homemade beauty face-packs uses it. Do you use turmeric on daily basis?

I drink a chi-tea every night. It has this, ginger, and mint in it.

For me, it helps with my digestive issues. I have something called GERD as well as IBS-C. The older I get, the more digestive issues I have it seems :(

Rather than get on a bunch of pills with their own sketchy side effects, I try to go as natural as I can and the tea I feel has been very helpful to my digestive issues.

I try to.

I use turmeric as a cheaper alternative to TUDCA and NAC for liver health. I'll rotate between turmeric, TUDCA, and NAC, and stack recommended doses when I put stress on my liver for prolonged periods.

But, in downtime, it's typically turmeric.

My liver function is great cycling through them, on paper at least.

I am getting to know more about its health benefits right now. I don't make use of it at the moment for other uses aside from cooking, but it seems that I am going to seriously making use of it in making most of the meals that I cook now.
