other Travelling solo?

A lot of people find travelling solo quite an adventure. Social platforms like You Tube and the like, has a number of videos that show travel experiences of people across the globe. Although the idea is exciting, it might be a risky hobby at times. Not all places around the globe are safe and travel friendly. Have you ever travelled solo? What has been your experience?

I have never travelled solo and don't think I ever would. In August, my daughter and I are heading to London to a concert, neither of us would have been able to travel on our own and even together, it's going to be something we are anxious about. I am finding that looking on Google maps and getting a feel of the area we will be in is helping somewhat.

Traveling solo can be quite challenging. Traveling with family and friends and sharing experiences together is better because you have someone to chat with and rely on throughout the journey.

No, I’ve never traveled solo. I imagine it’s freeing and helps build confidence, but I prefer sharing the journey with someone, it feels more enjoyable and less lonely that way.

I’ve gone trekking alone, and it was incredibly freeing. Solo travel pushes you to rely on yourself, reflect deeply, and connect with nature on a personal level. It’s peaceful, challenging, and gave me a real sense of independence.

When I was in my early 20s, I dreamed about traveling solo but I never could do it because I was always on money shortages. When I started earning, I was too occupied with building career. Now, I am a family man and I cannot do solo traveling.

Before I met my now wife, I was a solo traveler.

I enjoyed it but there was a void and loneliness that accompanied with it. Some people want that solo travel feel. Like I said, I liked most of it but still needed someone else with me.

Nowadays, I don't want to travel too far from home without my wife with me. I love our adventures together!

I have traveled solo many times. It's a very liberating experience because I have everything all to myself with no one bothering me. Though, it's normal to feel lonely on such a trip, but I do it whenever I want to stay alone.

That's me. I like to travel with my partner or a family member. Even when I am returning back to school, I will always want to travel with someone to avoid it being a boring journey.
