Well, Bollywood and Hollywood are two different film industries entirely. Bollywood is based in India locally and it is driven by the Indian local market and Indians in the diaspora. But Hollywood generates huge revenue globally due to its global market. Its audiences are everywhere all over the world and it's because their films are made in English language.
Both Hollywood and Bollywood are independent film fraternity. Each having its own set of audience and revenue generation. With online platforms that stream movies from both this giants have made it easier for audience across the globe to have access to and watch movies from both of these industries.
I watch Bollywood as well as Hollywood. Based on my experience, I can say, Bollywood does not make good movies too often. Most of the Bollywood movies are just a copy of their regional movies, or other international movies.
Bollywood offers vibrant music, emotion, and colorful storytelling, while Hollywood focuses on diverse genres and big-budget effects. I enjoy Bollywood’s cultural richness and Hollywood’s technical innovation. Both industries have unique strengths, and the best depends on what kind of story or experience I’m craving.
