I just re-read The Great Gatsby and noticed so many details I missed the first time. Do you ever re-read books? If so, what’s a book you’ve returned to, and what made it worth revisiting? If not, why do you prefer new reads?
Yeah, I sometimes re-read, especially, history and philosophy books. But I admit I also re-read fictions. I have read One Hundred Years of Solitude Multiple times. I have also read The Fountainhead multiple times
Re-reading books offers several benefits, including improved comprehension, increased reading fluency, and a deeper understanding of the text. It can also enhance memory, strengthen neural connections, and provide a sense of comfort and familiarity.

Yes, I did "re-read" in a sense during training because I processed books several times. 1984 is one that I frequently go back to because of its nuanced criticism of language and surveillance. Every reading makes you more aware of how power distorts the truth, so it's worth going over again.
