Globalisation has increased the interconnectedness of many economies. It has brought numerous benefits but at a cost to local cultures. Unique customs and traditions have been under threat. Cultural homogenisation is a real concern, as local businesses and practices are replaced by global chains. How can we balance the benefits of globalisation with the need to preserve cultural diversity?

Globalisation is not good for local cultures. To prevent this, we should uphold our local culture and local things. I’m not saying we shouldn't get to know and embrace each other’s culture. We can with the help of globalisation, but our local cultures should not be neglected totally.

Globalization kills local cultures, when local culture is killed people will lose their identity, they will be disconnected from their roots. This is not good for the society. Globalization is actually encroachment of the local culture.
