movie The Big Ugly (2020)

I just finished watching The Big Ugly.

It's about two international mob operations, one from the UK trying to clean money, and the other operating oil fields in the US on land that felt like they forced the owners to sign over mineral rights for them to operate on.

Like all mob/mafia movies, both mobs have a hierarchy. Also, in both hierarchies, there are "well respected" screw ups — as if they never rose to the #2 or #3 positions, operations would run smoothly.

There are a couple confusing scenes with odd edits, but other than that, it's not too bad of a movie.

I'd give it a 3/5.

I think the basic concept of this movie was to throw money and lives away. There is a psychopath who rapes and kills people to live. It's like getting paid for killing. Whether it is a brother, son, wife, daughter, or whoever, it is strictly business.

I salute Vinnie Jones for doing a very wonderful job here. I think the plot is very good. Malcom McDowell and Ron Perlman are great as well. It has a very incredible ending. As for me all actors were great and done their job well on the stage.

The whole cast was absolutely interesting to me. However, there are too many branches to the story and that makes the writing a little off for me.
