I can understand the posts of selfies if you are achieving something or if you are doing something that is a lifelong goal, but a lot of the time, you see people just posting selfies with a caption just for the sake of it.

That is very true. I find many people always feel like they should be updating their friends, family, and followers on anything and everything that happens in their lives and that leads to pointless posting just because they had to say something.

Well there are some people who wants to grow their brands on social media, and that can only be achieved by posting consistently, even when most of those posts don't make sense.

I think many people feel their posts aren’t interesting because of constant comparison and high online standards. Despite freedom to share, fear of judgment or low confidence makes them hold back, undervaluing their unique perspectives and everyday moments.
