I just finished Take Shelter.

It's about a man that has a family history of mental health and is grappling between reality and what could be schizophrenia. He's married with a daughter and can't discern truth from fiction as he has intense nightmares and even hallucinations, that scares him into distancing himself from them.

He dreams of an impending storm and prepares for it by doing out of the ordinary things, some of which cross over and have real consequences with his family life and professional life.

The story is long, but it easily carries you through to the end where we come to find his true diagnosis.

Take Shelter is the film that tells the story of a man who begins to see storm like an imagination and he was left with the choice as to to whether to protect his family or come to terms that he may have a mental illness. The storyline is extremely fascinating. I enjoyed it

It’s actually about the story of a man that is suffering from mental illness which brings him into conflict with his wife and his family. I really do feel for this character as well for what he's going through.

It was a very interesting film and I'm glad I eventually see it. This is an incredibly well-made film. It's such interesting story and it deals with a number of very complex issues in a very indepth and engaging way.

It tells a great story that is so really interesting to talk about. It's truly a brilliant film. One of the things that just got me so engaged with this story was the performance by Michael Shannon. He is a true masterclass in acting .
I recommend this film. It's so interesting!
