I recently watched an old interview with Elon Musk where he said, “If you care about your comfort, you will never be successful.”

If you examine the lives of self-made entrepreneurs, you will notice a pattern. They sacrificed their comfort, they worked really hard, sometimes even 18 hours, and continued to focus on their goals. Comfort often leads to complacency. If you truly want to succeed, you have to be willing to work hard, take risks, and step far outside your comfort zone.

I was going to add risk from just reading the title alone.

Hard work with long hours is key, but you must also take risks because you're doing what nobody else has done to see if it works.

I could also say that success could come with shortened hours and extreme risk as well.

I agree. Success often requires sacrifice and stepping out of your comfort zone. Growth happens when you face challenges, take risks, and push past fear. Staying too comfortable can limit your potential and keep you from achieving your bigger goals.

Emphasis on 'taking calculated risks', not just risks. People should learn to not just jump into anything all in the name of taking risks, else they will only have themselves to blame.
