A lot of social streaming platforms, have increasingly inclined towards an online rough trade in the hope of earning quickly, easily and conveniently. Common man has become shameless and cheap, and selling oneself has become such rampant that its seen as a norm. People despite getting banned, create multiple accounts and find multiple ways to continue advertising themselves. How would you feel if you find your "decent" neighbor/friend/family member/colleague/partner doing such a thing?

I have no problem with vulgarity on streaming apps, on TV series, or games or movies. I can control what I want to watch and if I don't like it, I avoid it. What is bothersome for me is the indecency on social media platforms. I abhor people who are vulgar on Reels, Youtuber shorts and Tiktok. If I see someone I know doing indecent act, I will block them on social media.

Vulgarity on streaming platforms shouldn't be a big problem because there are features available to control what you want to watch. If you notice something offensive or something that is not worthy of watching, you can control it.

However, the definition of vulgar differs with different people depending on our cultural norms and perspectives. We have a whole feature available to control whatever we want to watch. That solves the problem. Isn't it?
