I used to chase storms (mainly tornadoes) around the Midwest and a little out West.

At some point, I decided to quit chasing and just be a local weather spotter for my community, which I've been for over twenty years.

I do chase locally, though, if it's during the daylight hours and not 2:00 AM like the tornadoes we got on Friday.

Here are a few photos of a tornadic storm that did drop a funnel for a few seconds. I have the funnel on video, but I've not edited that footage yet.

Have any of you chased storms or felt like you'd want to at some point?
