discuss Smartglasses

Recently, Meta launched smartglasses in which you can interact with your glasses. The interactions include making calls, sending messages, finding location and places near by.

Given the chance, would you buy one? Or if you are already using one, please let us know what you think about it.

I don't think I need a smart-glasses. Why would I need to make call with an eyeglass. The only feature that could make me get a smart glass as it were would be if wearing it would make me to see beyond what everyone else sees. Won't buy this and I don't see it doing well in the market ether.

Thats a good reason to buy a smart glass.

I would have bought it if it permitted me to interact with the virtual world through a screen fixed on the lens.

In other cases, I think its pointless.

If these smart-glasses are cheaper than a smart mobile phone it would be useful for those who can not afford a smart mobile phone, for others it might not be so useful unless, it has corrective lenses that might be convenient for those who wear glasses for eyesight, then they can use it for two-in-one purpose, in which case it would be easy to locate lost pair of glasses with a missed call!

I don't mind smartwatches as I feel they are convenient, but smartglasses are not something I feel I would go for.

I do know that some companies have already released smartglasses and they seem quite pricey, but I also don't see a whole lot about them either.

I dont think that is the case because you need to have a smart mobile phone for syncing of data and controlling the smart glasses.

However, when you were talking about sunglasses thatt are smart, how would the idea of smart eye lenses like smart werabale contact lense stand out?

I haven't used Smartglasses before but I know it is quite useful for some purposes like navigation or hands-free communication. If I find it useful, I might have to try it one day.

I am someone who does not adopt a new tech immediately. There are two reasons, one, I am old school guy, and two, I cannot afford. As for now, I have no intention of using smart glass. My intention might change in the future if this piece of tech become one of the commonly used gadgets.
