In a romantic relationship, where I come from, it is expected of men to make the first move. Women usually do not express themselves and wait for the men to show interest first even if they are interested in that person. This is seen as a social etiquette. However, those days are long gone, and people no longer necessarily follow this system. Women are bold and expressive. However, there was some sort of shy sweetness in the older ways that I personally liked. What is your opinion on this?

No, men shouldn't always be expected to make the first move. That idea comes from traditional gender roles, but relationships work best when both people feel empowered to express interest. If someone feels a connection, regardless of gender, there’s nothing wrong with reaching out first. In fact, breaking that old rule can lead to more honest, equal, and refreshing connections. Confidence and clarity from anyone can be attractive, and making the first move is just a way of showing interest, not a measure of worth.
