discuss Should Chelsea sign Sancho permanently?

Chelsea FC took Jadon Sancho on loan from Manchester United with an obligation to sign him on a permanent deal for a fee worth around €25 million. However, they can decide not to sign Sancho and opt for paying a penalty of €5 million. Do you think that Sancho has done enough to deserve a permanent deal in Chelsea?

Chelsea should just do the needful and make the Sancho deal permanent. He would be a huge player in the next season for them. There is no place for him in Manchester United with the emergence of Amad. I believe Maresca can get the best out of Sancho and turn him to a balon d' or contender.

If I were part of the board in Chelsea football club, I would rather pay that penalty than take that overhyped Sancho on a permanent deal. Manchester United should not have an escape route for the liability they own.

There's nothing bad in Chelsea signing Sancho permanently especially if it fits into their budget or their wages structure because he's very consistent. I think £25 million pounds seems to be reasonable.

Chelsea turned down the offer to sign him permanently because of the wage that he demanded. He was not ready to lower it at that point and that was how the whole plan couldn't work out for both parties.

And that's how a player that was touted as one of the most exciting wingers in Europe just some few years ago has declined that he is being tossed around by clubs. But he scored in the Europa league final. Isn't that enough for Chelsea to pay him what he is asking for?

It is only an unserious player that would want to stay on the bench just to be earning a higher amount of money. So, I do not get why that is how you want everything to play out for him.

I wouldn't sign Sancho if I were Chelsea. Even though he scored a goal in life Conference League final, it doesn't change the fact he's a useless player. So, they did well in paying the £5M fine to send him back to Manchester United.
