How do you feel about the idea of this? I'm mainly asking from American citizens.

And what defines a terrorist here? Someone who opposes another party? Someone who protests? Could this open a rabbit hole for someone to just use it to abuse their power and put their opponents away?

In the case of rapists and murderers, that's fine, but not people protesting Gaza, for instance, unless it's proven they are plotting violence.

I understand you but I am against capital punishment so I am against treating people like animals even if they are child rapist and murderers. Sending them for life imprisonment is better punishment than killing them

I agree. If putting to death is so wrong and barbaric, then why would the state do it? See the hypocrisy.

Killing people would make you as bad as them. We need law and order, and we need to stop wars as well and sometimes we need to become brutal. However, this does not men killing and mudering is justified.

I've been seeing some actually Americans have been hit in the cross fire and have had their houses raided. A terrorist is someone that threatens the nation. Send the rapists and anyone that threatens our country there. They can fight amongst themselves.

Which brings me this point, when does it stop? I have family that came here from OVERSEAS, some may still be here with their green cards and working on their citizen ships. Should they be sent to El salvador? Absolutely not. They're not from there.

I wouldn't like to be sent someone that I'm not from nor raised.

I would prefer GITMO as it's an American prison, if the act merits. I do not want to see Americans housed outside of our country, despite what they did, as it sets a bad precedent. What if the next regime did the same to their seen political enemies? It's a slippery slope.

Not to me. They are Americans who are still protected by the US Constitution, and that could be considered cruel and unusual punishment, unless we let them set the standard that it isn't, which is a slippery slope.

Some (sub)humans do. But, unfortunately, we can't dish out that kind of punishment, especially to our own citizens.

No, extreme SA and murder of a child should be an immediate death sentence, with a focus on a "speedy trial" so that if there is such overwhelming evidence, appeals can't take decades. They do not deserve to live among us, as they stripped that right away from their victims.

Should they be sent to El salvador? Absolutely not. They're not from there.

If they commit a crime so horrendous that it's worthy of, yes. They are green card holders who are subject to no due process, in the traditional courtroom sense, as it's at the State Department's discretion in these cases.

Simple solution: Don't commit a crime or be linked to foreign terrorist organizations.

Some murderers I could have sympathy for - because so much happens in the heat of passion and also some murders are just gangster fighting each other etc.

However, though, in the case of despicable murders and ALL rapes, I really don't care if they are sent to horrible foreign prisons. In fact, why should they have a comfortable existence in American prisons, where they aren't even put on a chain gang anymore?

I will backtrack on rapes maybe because some rapes might be WOKE influenced false accusations, I don't know.
