Just finished watching Red One with my wife and daughter in IMAX, and it turned out to be a fun Christmas movie with a twist that I don't recall ever being done before: Santa getting kidnapped the day before Christmas.

Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans make a great comedy-action duo. There's even a cool throwback fight scene with Lucy Liu, reminding me of her Kill Bill days. On the other hand, I felt Kiernan Shipka's role as Gryla, the kidnapper, was subpar. Her character didn't have many lines, but it still felt like someone else might've been a better fit for the role.

Overall, it's a solid family movie, but it does have a few moments that might not be for everyone's family. There's a beach scene with some iffy portrayals of women, in that women shouldn't be treated as they were objects, and a couple of shots of women in skimpy bikinis/borderline thongs. Depending on your comfort level, you might want to keep that in mind if younger kids are watching. For us, it wasn't too big of a deal, especially since we're used to the beach life and this being an everyday occurrence for the most part.

A funny highlight was a slap-fighting scene that was coined something like "Schlappenegen." It reminded me of a recent thread by @Ja sa bong about whether slapfighting is a sport. As Dana White is a businessman, I wouldn't be surprised if he was able to have an influence on getting that slipped in the script to make slap fighting, or Power Slap, more popular with younger viewers, which probably isn't good either when I think about it.

In the end, it kept both my wife and me entertained, so I'd say it's a fun choice for just about anyone looking to kick back and enjoy a movie over the holidays.

I’ve watched it on a streaming platform. It’s an awesome Christmas movie. It's all about saving Santa who was kidnapped, and it's a must that they save him. I like how they blend action, comedy, and fantasy in Red One. It offers something for everyone. I've envisaged a great movie even before watching it because Jake Kasdan, is great at making funny and exciting films.

Red One is a cool holiday film, especially for Christmas. Santa got into trouble, and someone must rescue him. In my opinion, we should expect exciting chases, funny moments, and amazing sights in the movie. I’m very sure that the film will be a christmas adventure full of surprises.

Red One is a new Christmas actions comedy movie starring The Rock, Wesley Kimmel, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Wyatt Hunt,Lanz Duffy etc. It was directed by Jake Kasdan. I love the cast, they did a great job in the film.

In Red One, there are some mythological being who disagreed with Santa Claus method of Christmas celebrations. Then, he was adopted and need to be rescued. It was such a interesting story and there are so many funny moments there too.

However, the social media as discredited this movie a lot. I see a quite a lot of negativity build up around this movie even when it was not released. I mean, the critics only watched the announcement trailer. That's funny though! For me, the movie is good. Go watch it.

After watching it, the movie is so good. The good thing is, it has a very strong message and there are some funny scenes here too. I had good laughs there and it was awesome.

I also love the effect, and there are some cool actions to catch up to. It's not a bad watch if you are still contemplating watching. I like the vallian. Everything was well put together.

It might not be a great film but it's good. But I think, every scene in the movie seems a little long. But what got my attention more was the final battle with the villain. It was great. I guess that's the most interesting part of the film. I recommend it. It's not a bad watch at all.
