This thread focuses on relationships, including communication, dynamics, challenges, advice, and their impact on personal growth and connections.

I would say if your partner no longer respects you, that is the most evident red flag in a relation. In a relationship where respect is missing, it is already breaking apart.
Would that also mean respect for privacy?

Thats what I pointed out in my OP, mobile phones are constantly hidden form their life partner on the excuse of right to privacy and respecting those rights.

I don't think privacy should exist between couples, especially married couple. When you are willing to get naked in front of partner what's the point of looking for privacy such as mobile phones?

Precisely. This is also the reason why I think that hiding the phone of your partner is a absolute red flag in any relationship.

A phone is like a window to the mind of the owner of the phone. No reason why your husband/wife should not peek into your life.

We don't have any such boundaries. My wife tells me her decision to get married was heavily influenced by my Facebook page. She says, she checked my profile, checked all of my content and interaction, and found no read flags.

For me, the biggest red flag in a relationship is insincerity. When once I discover that you have lied about something, that relationship is surely ending because the gravity of the lies would increase as time goes by. You should be able to tell me the whole truth no matter how much it would be difficult for you. I would appreciate such a partner more than when he tells a lie to cover up. Lies is my biggest red flag.
