discuss Reality Shows: Entertaining or Fake Drama?

Some love reality TV, while others think it’s staged and exaggerated. Do you enjoy reality shows, or do they feel too scripted? Which one is your guilty pleasure?

Some reality shows like Big Brother are not scripted. But I think there are always too much exaggeration of personality as a strategy to win. And that is why it seems fake at the end. I follow Big Brother though but I just see through the exaggerations.

I used to watch a lot of reality shows in the past, for instance, local version of American Idol, Big Boss, Dancing With Stars, etc. and I really enjoyed them. But gradually I lost interest. I enjoyed those shoes even when I knew they had a lot of fake drama.

Reality shows are banal and are part of the reason I don't have a television.

Some reality shows can be very entertaining but it is very difficult to ignore the editing and production that goes into creating it and that is why it has some element of fake drama.

To be very honest, I've never really been a lover of reality shows. They are just too choppy for my liking. It's why I try as much as possible to stay away from them.

I can't say I have ever been a fan of reality TV shows. I always found them to be either boring or full of drama, and was used to get people famous by airing their private lives on television for everyone to see.

I really dont watch reality shows because, though it might be a very genuine one, I always feel that they are mad eto play with the emotions of poeple.

The only kind of reality shows that i would be watching are cooking reality shows albeit the drama.

If its dramatic, that is where I draw the line.
