Movie information in first post provided by The Movie Database
Before starting this movie, I only read a brief description of what it was about. When I saw that Nicolas Cage was the lead actor, I was like, "Why even bother?" But, I looked at its high IMDb score (6.9/10), and shrugged that feeling off to believe that there was something more to this movie than his previous flops.

I thought, "This will be a great John Wick-like story." In reality, it was the stark opposite of that. There's relatively little action for what you would believe to be a man wanting his beloved pet, and in this case, a pig, back. Instead, it's a more relatable story that most everyone can get behind, or probably have experienced at one time or another, at least.

The movie is very slow, but if you pay attention to the details, it's very compelling to continue watching to the end.

I'd give it a 4/5 because it drags out what could be a 15-minute movie into 92 minutes. However, those additional minutes set the tone for how Rob's life was to how it is and could be.
