I find it interesting that atheists would know more about the Bible than believers because believers aren't into researching what they're saying. Do you all feel that's true?

Yes, I agree that believers don't even know the Bible. That's because most Christian denominations have trained their adherents to be dogmatic. They have to listen to and only follow what their church leaders say. And not to know the Bible for themselves.
Well, some of them obviously study it hard, but they don't want to take things deeper.
It is even worse nowadays. People don't even have the time to research religion any longer. They just are so engrossed with hustle. Their religion takes the back-burner and they almost don't know anything about their religion more than what the religious leaders teach.
I totally agree with this.
Faithfull has become blind today because of three reason:
1. Faith is being taught by family and religious institutions from a very young age when logic will be mostly clouded.
2. The growth of liberalism is seen as a threat. So, religious leaders push their agenda very strongly.
3. Political consolidation of religious votes.

In my experience and observation, believers have a closed mindset, they cannot see other things. They blindly believe what their holy books say.
It’s not universally true, but some atheists study the Bible deeply to critique or understand it, while some believers rely on faith over analysis. Devout scholars exist too, so it varies, motivation drives knowledge, not just belief or non-belief.
The trend of not studying the Bible is getting worse with the Gen Z. Those ones don't even have time for too much religious talks. That's why it seems the depth of Christianity is beginning to wane in this age.
