off-topic My Current Homeless Situation

For threads discussing subjects unrelated to the main forum topics.
I don't mind sleeping in a car, but my wife isn't tough enough to handle it and has diabetes.

Myself, the seat I sleep in won't go back like hers does so I get back problems. Id really like to sell or trade the 2012 Honda Accord
Why are you homeless?

What can you do to not be homeless? Can you work more than one job? Can you seek help from friends and family? Can you go to a homeless shelter?

What more can you do to get out of the situation you are in now?

I'm not judging you but if my family and I were homeless, I'd sleep two hours a day and work the rest until we got back on our feet, no matter if it hurt me or not.

I really understand what it means to be in that homeless situation. At a point in my life, I also couldn't afford accommodation. But mine seemed not as complex as yours because I didn't have family. I don't know your religion but you can try to approach a church close to you, I am certain they can assist with temporary shelter at the least till you can afford yours.

I'm always willing to work, but it's tough to get jobs in this small town, so my next move could be going somewhere else.

I'm homeless because I was lied to about some property where squatters had gotten in. There was feces all over the mobile home, so I left and I'm now in my wife's hometown.

I would do that as quickly as possible to get on your feet much sooner.

Despite your beliefs, have you gone to any of the local churches to see if you can grab some food? That could take some financial strain off.

I finally got an older style motel and can rent it for $240 a week and I have a new fast food job. Things should work out and the motel room is very clean, though, ugly on the outside, lol.

A church helped out with the first week, so that was nice. I am very moved and thankful.
Glad things are on the up and up for you!

I'm glad that things are on the way up for you. Keep on pushing!

Homelessness is certainly a difficult situation. I have lived in a public park for a couple of days and queued to get free meals for many days, and I understand how it feels not to have money to buy a living space and food to eat.
Well, ultimately in my situation, things were worse because of foolish spending of me and my wife. One example would be using money at gas stations where prices are ridiculously high.
